Our Charity Work

DSC02058 On Thursday 27th March we took part in Treetops Hospice’s 100 photo-logo challenge. The Hospice’s helper Nicholas Bear has set himself a challenge to raise £10,000 by asking 100 companies to donate £100 towards this great cause. In return for the donation Nicholas Bear will visit the company and have his photograph taken with the company logo.

So we at Feel Fab! got our Not Just Networking members together and between us we raised £100 to get Nicholas to come along to one of our meetings. Here we are having our photo taken with Nicholas Bear. This photo features on Treetops website and face book page. Thank you to all who took part: Rob Phelps Forever Living, Bev Sankey Arbonne International, Caroline Beasley, Starflower Holistic, James Dicks, Polished Treasures, Anita James, Essentially Holistic, Jane Mason Miligio Jewellery, Claire Stone, Neals Yard, James Winsoar, 10lb Challenge, Debra Leivers, Flutter Eyes Derby & Michelle Coleclough, Progue.

Our ladies night at Hilton House Hotel in April raised over £200 for Breast Cancer and our Family Fun day at Trent College, Long Eaton, raised £342 for their chosen charities.

We had a great time at The Octagon Centre, Burton On Trent on Saturday 28th June at our Food Fayre. We were collecting food for Burton’s YMCA’s food bank. Shoppers helped us to fill a shopping trolley to support this much need service.

During 2015 Feel Fab! has worked with Derby Carers Association, The Laura Trust, Derby and Rainbows Hospice. We have organised stall holder events for these charities helping them to raise vital funds. One highlight was the Afternoon tea party in June at Derby County Cricket Club for the Derby Carers Association. We took along 25 of our stall holders and the association provide afternoon tea and entertainment for their carers and guests.
